A Bit of Personal...
Because I think it's important for you to get to know US...
Most of you know that we are expecting our first child in March. We are just so amazed with the blessing that God has given us with this child and a growing family.
My dream in life has always been to be a mother. Ever since I was a little girl. I never really had a "career" in my mind for my future growing up. I just knew I wanted to be a mother. The rest would work it's self out. So now that I am embarking on that journey to motherhood, the emotions that are filling my mind and heart are so overwhelming. It's beautiful really. God is so good.
Now that my belly is growing, it's been really fun having Josh play around with some maternity photos throughout this journey. We took some quick ones a few weeks ago when I was 21 weeks. The belly starting to be pretty obvious that Im not just eating too much Oreos (I have had my fair share of those though). haha
And of course I had to take one of my handsome husband... who then did some amazing processing and played with some textures! He loves to do that!
So there is our start to my maternity photos! It's really just the beginning. We are photographers you know! There is bound to be a HUGE collection by the time Josie gets here! And then the newborn photos will begin!
We will be back next week with some photos from some sessions we have this weekend!

Hi there,
I saw your cool frames around your belly shots on Flickr and followed the link over to your cute blog. First off, congrats on being a mommy and following your dream of your career of mommyhood. I have 2 daughters, ages 8 and 5. I also never really had a "career" in mind per say, knew I'd always have kids, and it has been hands down the best time of my life. My daughters are so much fun and everyday I am so thankful for what I have. I stay at home with them, we homeschool because we've moved almost every year for the last 3 years for my hub's job (and we are moving once more next week to Mexico!), but we see it as a positive to be able to spend so much time with our kids and they get to see the world and things they may not ever get to see otherwise. I also recently started studying photography (although yours is professional, I'm still learning how to turn on my new Canon xsi) and have always been a crafter/scrapbooker, so looks like we have a few things in common!
Whew! That was a novel!
Oh, how do you get the frames around your pictures if you don't mind me asking?
Enjoy your new mommyhood!
Ta! d.
