These Years

These years of her life are so precious.

This is my sweet friend Bailey. I adore her to pieces. She is in college and living for Christ. I think that is just so beautiful. It's so rare to see a young college girl so on fire for Christ.

Even better, she is just an adorable little hippie chick!

And some fun texture is something that we LOVE to do in our post processing!

Big ♥ Little

A sweet big brother and his darling little sister. Just a beautiful thing to witness. These are sweet friends of ours at church. Samuel and Anna.

 

 

 

 

 

I adore photographing siblings. There is just something so marvelous about the bond between them at such a young age. And their physical characteristics amaze me.  Their father shared something with me today about them. They both have the most gorgeous blue eye color and each of them have a little brown speck in one of their eyes. Just more proof that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made."

I will be updating rather frequently this next month. LOTS of stuff to share

Friends

 This past weekend I had an amazing opportunity to meet up with some of my friends that are a part of a Design Team with me at Scrap In Style tv. We hosted the first Scrap In Style tv scrapbooking event. It was great fun and I was apart of the photography team for the event, which was such a dream!

I was able to snap a few portraits of some of the girls on our Design Team, "The Fashionistas".

We had an amazingly fun time at the event and finally meeting everyone in person.

My Turn

Last weekend was my turn in front of the camera!
We love spending time together taking photos... getting creative together... learning together and from each other.
This time it was our backyard...

It has gotten so hot here in Nashville this past week. It's already in the 90's! Looks like we are in store for a very hot summer.
I'm going to start sharing a couple of my favorite home decor things around the house and things that inspire our photography. This is in our bedroom. You might recognize this frame from the Sanders session as well as Katie's session. It has found a home on our floating shelf in our bedroom.


I think my lil collection of owls started when they hit the scrapbooking scene and I've loved them ever since.
I love pairing vintage pattens and textures with bold modern colors.

Again, we only have a few more spots open for sessions until August!
